Lantern Making Contest (Kids Edition)
Join the Lantern-Making Competition (Kids Edition) and let your creativity shine! Design your very own Chinese lantern with guidance from our guest lantern maker. Compete for a chance to win up to ₱5,000 worth of Ever Gift Certificates and other exciting giveaway prizes!
How to Join
1. Eligibility: Open to kids aged 6 to 12 years old.
2. Registration:
○ Register online: https://bit.ly/LanternMakingContestRegister
○ Limited to the first 50 registrants only.
○ Registration closes on January 22, 2025 or once all slots are filled.
Event Details
○ Date: January 25, 2025
○ Time: 4pm – 6pm
○ Venue: Ever Commonwealth Mall Activity Center
Guidelines for Participants
1. Basic art materials will be provided by Ever Mall (e.g., colored paper, glue, scissors, markers).
2. Participants are encouraged to bring their own art materials and recyclable materials (e.g., cardboard, plastic bottles, straws) to enhance their designs and achieve the best results.
3. A guest lantern maker will conduct a workshop to inspire and guide participants before the competition begins.
Competition Mechanics
> After the workshop, kids will have 30mins to create their unique Chinese lantern designs.
> Each design will be judged based on the following criteria:
○ Creativity and Originality: 40%
○ Use of Recyclable Materials: 30%
○ Craftsmanship and Presentation: 30%
> Judges will select the Top 3 Most Creative Lantern Designs, with prizes awarded as follows:
○ 1st Place: ₱5,000 worth of Ever Gift Certificates
○ 2nd Place: ₱3,000 worth of Ever Gift Certificates
○ 3rd Place: ₱2,000 worth of Ever Gift Certificates
Reminders for Participants
○ Arrive at least 30 minutes before the event starts for check-in and setup.
○ At least 1 parent or guardian must accompany participants during the event.
○ The organizer reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not follow the rules or use unsafe materials.
