The first-ever Battle of the Buskers in the Philippines is here at the Callepalooza! We are calling all indie bands, acoustic buskers, amateur musicians, solo performers, and musical groups to showcase their talent and share their unique story through music.

Whether you’re a seasoned busker, a weekend performer, or a group of friends who simply love making music together, this is your chance to take your performance from the streets and social media to the Callepalooza Grand Battle!

🎶 What Makes a Good Musician?

This isn’t just about hitting the right notes. For your entry, we’re asking one important question:

“What is the essence of being a good musician?”

Tell us what music means to you. Is it about storytelling? Connecting with people? Expressing emotions? Creating memories? Or simply sharing the joy of music? Your answer, together with your performance, will help bring your story to life.

🎤 How to Join

Joining the Battle of the Buskers is easy!

1. Register Online
Complete the official online registration form through the designated registration link.

2. Record Your Performance
Create a video of your musical performance with a minimum length of 1 minute.

3. Post It Online
Upload your entry on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. Make sure your post is set to Public.

4. Use the Official Hashtags & Tag @callebistroph in your post

5. Tell Us Your Story
In your caption, include:

• Your name or band name
• Your musical talent or type of act
• Your answer to: “What is the essence of being a good musician?”

That’s it! Your stage starts online.

After all entries have been submitted, the Top 5 Grand Finalists will be selected based on the official judging criteria.

The chosen finalists will take their talents to the live Callepalooza Battle of the Buskers Grand Showdown on September 27, 2026, Sunday.

Get ready for live performances, big energy, and a celebration of homegrown musical talent as our finalists battle for the top spot!

Each online entry will be evaluated based on:

• Musical Performance & Skill – 40%
• Stage Presence / Showmanship – 30%
• Engagement Impact – 30%

For the Grand Showdown, finalists will be judged on their musicality, stage presence, creativity, audience engagement, and overall performance impact.
